Drop Off Forest School

At McWilliams Heritage Farm, Folk & Forest School, Wildlings thrive in an immersive outdoor setting where child-led exploration, play, and discovery take center stage. This fully outdoor program nurtures resilience, confidence, and a deep connection to nature.

Wildlings engage in hands-on experiences like climbing, shelter-building, foraging, and primitive skills daily, fostering independence and creativity. Without a rigid schedule or predetermined lessons, children can follow their curiosity, develop problem-solving skills, and build meaningful relationships with the land and their peers.

Forest School is where children can run wild, embrace the elements, and learn through experience—whether tracking animals in the snow, cooking over an open fire, or whittling with fundamental tools. Guided by experienced mentors, each session is filled with adventure, wonder, and the freedom to roam.
